Hello!!
It has been quite a long time since I’ve posted, and, as you can imagine, it’s been quite hectic here in the Land of the Lioness! Summer is just around the corner, so here are a few updates as to what’s been happening in my world!
Firstly, beginning earlier this year, I have begun as a Contributing Writer with Paste Magazine, a wonderful digital entertainment publication based out of Atlanta! So far, I have written three articles for Paste, and you can find them front and center over on my PORTFOLIO page and listed over in CONTRIBUTIONS!
Secondly, with that in mind, I am continuing to forge ahead in my journalism career towards my long-term goal of a Staff Writer position, and I am still undertaking freelance work! I expect to be making an announcement soon as to something that has been in the works for a few weeks, so be sure to stay tuned for that!
I am cooking up some ideas for it, but I do plan to write a couple of new installments of Eklektiki Mageia over the summer! Be sure to check back for that also!
Lastly, after several years, I am FINALLY uploading print magazine work that I did back in 2004 and 2005 for Item Magazine, which was based out of Scottsdale, Arizona. I will be putting those up slowly over the next few days, and these articles can be found in the two sections that I mentioned above. This is my earliest professional writing work, so I am quite proud of these! If you do get a chance to visit the Metro Phoenix area, definitely head over to Scottsdale (particularly Old Town) as well as my old stomping grounds, the Tempe campus of Arizona State University.
