The phrase “married single mom” has shown up all over social media, which refers to women who are taking on an overwhelming amount of responsibility for childcare and housework by themselves even though they have a partner or a spouse. While women fought for equality fifty years ago, how and why is this phenomenon regressing society? I share my thoughts for YourTango, published in June 2023.
